Prior to the establishment of the company in 2020, my wife Susan wanted to remove all of the trim in a room so she could repaint the room. Removing the trim was so she would not have to spend hours taping over the trim. The problem was the trim was completely nailed on so removal meant damaged walls and unusable trim. Taping over the trim would have taken hours and while painting the walls, the paint still could have gotten onto the trim or small areas of the walls may not have gotten painted.
So, as my wife was painting, she said a prayer asking God: "is there any way to easily remove and re-attach trim from the wall?" It was at that moment this new concept was born; yes, it can be done. We put our heads together and after considering many ideas of how to mount the trim we decided upon what we are now offering. It's simplistic, durable, reusable, and cost effective. The primary difference is that it is reusable, remove it and when your main task is completed, reattach it. Re-installation only takes a few minutes, giving you the appearance of a brand-new room, a clean and crisp appearance.
On the back of our trim, we have added keyholes at 8" spacing to the aluminum trim.
This allows the trim to slide onto the screw heads protruding from the wall at each stud for a snug fit around windows, doors or other applications.
Trim is designed so all pieces are interlocking. This effectively locks all the pieces in place and prevents the trim from being inadvertently removed.
Our patent gives you the ability to remove the trim when needed. Why is this important and convenient? Painting! Adding new color to your room is now made easier by not having to tape off around our casings.
The top piece locks the installation in place which serves 2 purposes. By locking it in place it prevents inadvertent removal. Secondly, by removing the top piece it allows you to remove the other casings in succession.
Once removed you can easily paint around windows, doors or baseboard without need to tape or risk transferring paint to the casing by free hand.
Once the paint is dry simply replace the trim installation. It is also easier to paint the trim as well if you want to change color by removing the trim from the wall.
